Shareable Owner Reports

One live, read-only P&L link per property — controlled by you.

See Pro pricing

One standing link

Create one report URL per property and keep using it for owner meetings instead of exporting and resending a new spreadsheet every month.

A deliberate data boundary

The public statement excludes guest names, contact details, booking notes, transaction descriptions, and the property street address.

Sensitive sections stay controlled

Fixed property costs and depreciation start hidden. Include either section only when the recipient should see it.

Pause or rotate at any time

Disable the report without deleting its setup, or rotate the token to invalidate an old URL immediately.

How it works

1

Open Profitability → Share Reports

Choose the property, open Profitability, and select Share Reports. The first visit creates a disabled link so nothing becomes public by accident.

2

Choose the statement boundary

Enable the link and decide whether fixed costs or depreciation should appear. Normal operating costs, including prorated annual platform fees, remain part of the P&L.

3

Copy, test, and share

Open the link in a private browser, choose a month, year-to-date, or full-year view, and print or save the statement as a PDF when needed.

The same math as Profitability

Authenticated Profitability and the public owner statement use the same shared P&L calculation. Prepaid charges, refunds, commissions, booking-linked costs, operating expenses, platform fees, and optional fixed-cost or depreciation sections follow one calculation path.

A bearer link, not an owner account

Anyone holding the enabled URL can read the allowed report without signing in. HostMoat rate-limits access and withholds private source fields, while the host remains responsible for disabling or rotating a link that reached the wrong recipient.

Search and cache protection

Report routes send no-index, no-referrer, and private no-store directives. Those controls reduce accidental discovery and caching, but the URL should still be treated like a confidential document link.

Frequently asked

Which plan includes owner reports?

Shareable Owner Reports require Pro, Pro 5, or Pro 10. The property owner or a manager with edit access can configure the link.

What periods can an owner view?

The report supports each calendar month, year to date, and the full selected year. Available years are limited to the property's report data.

What information is always excluded?

Guest identity and contact fields, booking notes, transaction descriptions and memos, and the street address are never included in the public response.

Can I hide mortgage, fixed costs, or depreciation?

Yes. Fixed property costs and depreciation are separate opt-in sections and start hidden. Operating expenses and annual platform fees remain visible because they are part of normal operating performance.

What if I sent the link to the wrong person?

Rotate it from Share Reports. The old URL stops working immediately. Disable the report instead when sharing should pause but you want to keep the current URL for later.

Can I download an owner statement?

Use Print / PDF in the public report. Your browser can print the statement or save it as a PDF.
