Platform and payment fees add up, but the exact amount depends on the channel, account, guest-fee model, and region. HostMoat’s Booking Site gives Pro owners a direct path where HostMoat takes no commission; Stripe’s standard payment-processing fees still apply.

Your Property, Your Brand, Your Page

Every Pro property can publish a hosted booking page at yourslug.hostmoat.com. It includes property photos, amenities, capacity, rooms, house rules, and availability from the HostMoat calendar. HostMoat updates its own calendar immediately after a direct booking and shares an outgoing iCal feed; connected platforms block those dates when they next refresh that feed.

Inquiry Mode or Instant Book: Your Choice

Not every host wants to automate every booking. Inquiry Only sends a request for review. Instant Book holds the dates while Stripe payment is verified; with automatic contracts enabled by default, the guest then signs the property’s agreement before HostMoat confirms the booking and sends the confirmation email. Hosts who explicitly disable automatic contracts can confirm immediately after verified payment.

Automatic Contracts on Every Direct Booking

Each property has a default rental-agreement template. Instant Book uses that agreement automatically after verified payment unless the host turns contract automation off. Signed artifacts are stored with the booking and available as PDF downloads; contracts for other bookings can also be sent from the Contracts workspace.

Collect Deposits Without the Friction

The Booking Site can collect full payment or a fixed or percentage deposit through Stripe. For deposit bookings, HostMoat schedules the remaining balance from the property’s configured days-before-arrival rule; bookings made on or after that cutoff collect the full amount at checkout. The contract’s payment-terms variable reflects the actual deposit, due date, and balance.

Custom Domains

Your hostmoat.com subdomain works for getting started, and Pro subscribers can connect a custom domain such as book.villakaraway.com. Booking Site settings provide the hostname and DNS instructions needed for the connection.

Getting Set Up in Minutes

Start in Property > Property Profile, where you add the reusable description, amenities, rooms, photos, location, and house rules once. Then open Direct Booking → Booking Website near the top of Main to choose your slug, booking mode, deposit settings, presentation, and section visibility. Synced-content cards link back to the profile when a fact needs changing, and Preview shows what guests will see before you share the link. Put it in your email signature, guest communication templates, or social media bio.
